The Legendary Rance Allen Receives Honor from Heaven 1460 WXOK Radio
On October 28th, the legendary Rance Allen will receive the “Eula Mae Hatter” Award presented by Heaven 1460 WXOK radio. The award will be presented during WXOK Radio’s All Star Gospel Celebration in Baton Rouge, LA. This is the station’s most coveted award because Eula Mae Hatter was the host of WXOK’s Gospel Morning Show for more than 40 years and she desired for WXOK to become a 24 hour Gospel station.
Rance is truly honored to receive this award and grateful for WXOK’s support over the years. He will be honored for his 58 years of ministry and industry changing musical contributions during the celebration.

Shirley Murdock Celebrates New Release
On October 18th, Shirley Murdock began her day with a huge smile as she celebrated the release of her new project Live: The Journey. Yes, Shirley has recorded albums since the early 80s, but this release was special because it is her first Live CD & DVD. The smiles continued after Murdock finished her TV interview at WHIO in Dayton, OH and quickly prepped for the Release Celebration at Solid Rock Church in Monroe, OH.

 (Indianapolis, IN) – January 28, 2010 – While the world has focused on sending relief to the Haitian families, Tyscot Records Founder, Bishop Leonard Scott took it a little further. Scott, a trained Dentist, along with two other medical staff groups, traveled to the Dominican and provided free health care for their oral well-being.

Tyscot Receives 6 Stellar Award Nominations
Tyscot Music & Entertainment earns 6 nominations for the 2012 Stellar Awards. The Rance Allen Group is nominated in four categories including Group Duo of the Year, Traditional Group/Duo of the Year, Traditional Male Vocalist of the Year and Quartet of the Year for their “Live Experience II” CD.
Gospel Jazz Artist, Harold Rayford received one nomination for Instrumental Gospel CD of the Year for “I Am the Instrument” CD. The Vashawn Mitchell My Songbook “Collection of Hits” CD received one nomination for Special Event CD of the Year.
Tyscot Music & Entertainment is excited about all nominations and looking forward to participating in the 2012 Stellar Awards, scheduled for January, 2012 in Nashville, TN.
