Proctor & Gamble, Dr. Leonard Scott team up to promote Swiffer Wet Jet
Cincinnati, OH- It is not often that you see many gospel artists asked to be spokespersons for a major company and this year’s Allstate Gospel Superfest could change this.
Celebrating its 11th year, Gospel Superfest not only featured 30 of today’s hottest gospel stars but it also opened the door to fostering a relationship with one of the world’s most successful company’s, Proctor and Gamble. As one of the main sponsors, P&G used this prime opportunity to partner with select gospel artists to highlight their most popular brands. Tyscot Records’ new president and banner artist, Dr. Leonard Scott was given the honor of helping to promote the Swiffer Wet Jet .
In lieu of simply reciting product details from a prewritten script, Proctor & Gamble allowed Dr. Scott to add a unique and creative spin to the presentation. Teaming up with the Indianapolis-based dance ensemble Krash Krew, Dr. Scott wowed the crowd with a performance that incorporated the Swiffer. Performing to the song, Bless the Lord from his latest CD ‘Be Lifted Up’, Dr. Scott and company used an ordinary household object to give glory and praise to God. The crowd and most importantly P&G executives were thrilled with the performance.
This year’s Gospel Superfest took place in Cincinnati’s Cintas Center at Xavier University and attracted thousands of gospel music fans. |
