Marica Chisolm preps for National Release of ‘Simply Worship’
Independent project gets nationwide debut January 28th

(Dec. 22 – INDIANAPOLIS) The life of an independent artist is a constant grind. Poll any indie artist out there, and they’ll tell you stories of balancing a 9 to 5 job while trying to reach the masses with their music. It’s a difficult job that Praise & Worship leader, Marica Chisolm, is all too familiar with. It can be difficult for a local artist to reach a national audience but on January 28th, Marica will get that chance.
The end of January will usher in a new chapter to Marica’s ministry, national exposure. Through a partnership with Tyscot Music & Entertainment, followers of Marica’s growing ministry will get an opportunity to hear the full project.
Marica is excited that people across the country will be able to finally hear the project, especially worship leaders at area churches. In fact, that is one audience that she had in mind when creating the project.
“As a worship leader, it was difficult to find worship music…a whole CD of it,” said Chisolm, “you can have one song here or two songs on this person’s CD but not an entire CD that people could actually sing at the church.”
Marica also added that she wanted to create a CD that would incorporate everything a worship leader needed from the beginning to the end of a service.
“You don’t have to get 3 or 4 CDs, you can just buy one… and that’s what Simply Worship is about,” said Chisolm.
To better ensure that more people find out about her national release, Marica is currently planning a tour in various cities across the country. If you want Marica Chisolm to worship at your church, shoot her a message on her website: www.maricachisolm.com
Simply Worship will be available In Stores and Online January 28th.
