Bryant Scott
President
Husband, Son, Father, Pastor, Psalmist, Teacher, and Entrepreneur are just a few titles that describe one of the most highly respected men in the Gospel Music Industry today. Bryant Stephen Scott is loving husband to Ta’Sha Marie Scott, and the proud father of six beautiful daughters; Bryni, Brooke, Blake, Blair, Kendyl and Stepheny. Bryant thoroughly immerses his energies into his family, church, community, and career.
Bryant was ordained in December 2011 by the Bishop J Lavern Tyson Ordination Series. In 2016 Bryant earned his Masters of Divinity from the Bishop Tom Benjamin cohort of the Wesley Seminary. Additionally, Bryant holds a Bachelors in general studies from Indiana University, a Masters in Accountancy Certification from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Anderson University. Bryant currently serves as Lead Pastor of Total Praise & Worship Center, Indianapolis, IN along with his wife Ta’Sha.
As President of Tyscot Records, the oldest African-American owned international gospel record company in the world, Bryant has created opportunities, influenced lives, and launched careers. He is credited for signing and developing major artists including John P. Kee, The GMWA Women Of Worship, Dr. Bobby Jones, Deitrick Haddon, The Rance Allen Group, The Anointed Pace Sisters, Carman, Bishop Noel Jones, Darwin Hobbs, Shirley Murdock, Ann Nesby, and most recently Anthony Brown and Casey J. In 1993, Bryant was influential in the negotiations and development of the multi-million dollar John P. Kee/Jive-Zomba/Tyscot deal that lead to the launching of Verity Records and two Gold Status Albums for John P. Kee.
Now, as President of Tyscot Films, LLC, Bryant has teamed up with Deitrick Haddon, one of the most innovative and creative personalities in the entertainment industry to bring an array of faith-based films and television productions to the masses. Tyscot Film’s first production Blessed & Cursed has been broadcast on Showtime, The Movie Channel, GMC, and Netflix. Tyscot Films’ second production A Beautiful Soul released nationally in AMC Theaters and premiered on TV-One. Tyscot Film currently has several faith-based films in production, including Double Sided, directed by Tommy Ford.
Bryant Scott’s successful career would not have been possible without Jesus Christ who is the head of his life and his father Bishop Leonard S. Scott, founder of Tyscot Records who allowed Bryant to make his imprint at Tyscot. Bryant is a minister and psalmist who seeks God first before any decision is made.
